One hour a year for the rest of your life.
A thorough annual physical, in an unhurried visit, with a provider who actually remembers you. We catch what's coming before it becomes urgent β and most insurance plans cover it fully.
What an hour actually buys you.
Every annual physical is tailored to where you are in life β but here's what most adult exams cover.
Full Physical Exam
Vital signs, head-to-toe physical, heart and lung check, abdominal exam, joints, reflexes, skin check. The thorough exam most adults haven't had since they were a kid.
Bloodwork & Labs
Drawn on-site. CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, A1c, thyroid β whichever your provider recommends based on your age, history, and risk factors. Results back in 1β2 days.
Blood Pressure & Heart Health
Detailed blood pressure check, heart sound evaluation, and EKG when indicated based on age, symptoms, or risk. Catching cardiovascular issues early is one of the highest-value parts of an annual physical.
Health History & Risk Review
A genuine conversation about how you've been feeling, your family history, your lifestyle, and what you're worried about. Not a checklist β a discussion that shapes the rest of the visit.
Vaccines & Screenings β On Your Terms
We won't push vaccines on you. We'll tell you what's available, answer your questions honestly, and respect your decision. The same goes for age-appropriate screenings β we recommend, you decide.
Personalized Plan
You leave with a clear summary of what's working, what to watch, and what to do next. Lifestyle recommendations, medication adjustments, follow-up timing β written down, not rushed through.
Most insurance plans cover annual physicals at 100% as preventive care. We'll verify your coverage before your visit so there are no surprises.
From scheduling the call to your follow-up plan.
An annual physical takes about an hour. Here's how the visit unfolds.
Schedule & prepare
Call (231) 753-1400 to schedule. We'll find a time that works, verify your insurance benefits, and let you know whether to fast for bloodwork. New patients can complete intake paperwork from home.

The visit itself
Arrive 15 minutes early for vitals, weight, and check-in. Then a thorough conversation with your provider, full physical exam, on-site bloodwork, and any vaccines or screenings you'd like to discuss. Unhurried, not rushed.
Typical Time

Results & follow-up
Lab results typically come back in 1β2 days. Your provider reviews them and reaches out with the plan β by phone, portal, or follow-up visit, depending on what's needed. Nothing falls through the cracks.
