Dr. Joshua Saur is a board-certified physician and the owner of Bay Urgent Care and Family Practice. A native of Northern Michigan, he returned home to build a practice rooted in the community he grew up in — one where patients are treated like neighbors, not numbers.
Dr. Saur brings a comprehensive, holistic approach to his practice — treating each patient as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. His hands-on training includes procedures like joint injections, bedside ultrasound, and skin biopsies, which means many patients can have problems addressed in one visit rather than being sent down the road to a specialist.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Saur is most often spending time with his family — the moments of connection and relaxation he values most.
What Dr. Saur treats
- Annual physicals & wellness
- Chronic disease management
- Acute illness & injury
- Joint injections
- Bedside ultrasound
- Skin biopsies

John Lawrence
John Lawrence is a certified physician assistant and a primary care provider at Bay Urgent Care and Family Practice. He brings a strong commitment to patient care and a steady, dedicated presence to the practice — qualities patients consistently call out in their reviews.
John brings a wide range of clinical experience to family practice. He started his career in traditional family medicine, including caring for his own patients during their hospital stays, and has also spent significant time working with pediatric patients. That breadth gives him a unique perspective on caring for every member of a family — from infants to seniors.
Outside of the clinic, John spends time with his wife and pursues two lifelong passions: baseball and boating.

Linda Zerby
Linda Zerby is a certified physician assistant and a Northern Michigan native. Her prior experience in the emergency room means she has seen the full range of urgent care presentations — from minor injuries to true emergencies — and brings that calm, experienced judgment to every patient she sees.
Linda is drawn to urgent care for the variety it brings — no two days are the same. She enjoys the puzzle of figuring out what's going on in front of her, explaining it clearly to the patient, and getting them on a path forward in a single visit.
When she's not at the clinic, Linda is with her husband and children — family time is the priority that anchors her busy life.
What Linda treats

- Minor injuries
- Lacerations
- Sprains and fractures
- Rapid testing

Colin Wilson
Colin Wilson is a certified physician assistant with prior emergency room experience. He brings the broad clinical knowledge and steady judgment of an ER background to every patient he sees at Bay UC.
Colin's approach is straightforward: present the options, explain what each one looks like, and let the patient decide. He leans conservative — favoring the least invasive treatment that solves the problem — and believes patients make better decisions when they understand what's actually going on.
Outside of the clinic, Colin is on the water or outdoors with his wife and child — and Captain, his loyal dog and frequent companion on adventures.
What Colin treats
- Acute illness & injury
- Lacerations
- Sprains & fractures
- Sports physicals

We treat every patient the way we'd want our own family treated — with time, attention, and the experience to know what really matters.
